By submitting an application to Global Records and/or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit your application or use our services. The globalrecords.com website is owned and operated by Global Records S.R.L. By accessing this site, the materials and information presented within it, the visitor confirms that they have read, understood and fully accept the following terms and conditions of use. The terms and conditions of use may be modified at any time without prior notice.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The content of the www.globalrecords.com website: images, texts, web graphics elements, scripts, software, design rights, model rights, patents, registered trademarks, is entirely the property of www.globalrecords.com and its suppliers and is protected by copyright and related rights laws and intellectual and industrial property laws.

You retain ownership of your musical compositions and sound recordings. By working with Global Records, you grant us limited rights to distribute, promote, and market your music as outlined in any executed distribution agreement. www.globalrecords.com and the www.globalrecords.com logo are registered trademarks of www.globalrecords.com.

4.1 Content Requirements

• All music must be original or properly licensed
• Content must not infringe on third-party rights
• Music must meet technical quality standards
• Metadata must be accurate and complete

4.2 User-Generated Content

In the case of sending or displaying materials/documents that involve texts, reviews, etc., formulated by Users, it is considered that the respective User guarantees their originality and grants www.globalrecords.com and its affiliates/associates the non-exclusive, unlimited, free, irrevocable and retransmissible right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works, as well as the right to distribute and present this content anywhere in the world, by any means.

5. Artist Obligations and Professional Conduct

Users of the www.globalrecords.com website may make comments and any other communications, may transmit suggestions, questions or information, if their language is civilized, and the content of the communications is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, does not in any way disturb the private life of other people, does not violate intellectual property rights, does not contain viruses, does not serve promotional campaigns unrelated to www.globalrecords.com.

The categories of personal data processed are: first name and surname, gender, date and place of birth, data from civil status documents, phone/fax, address (domicile/residence), email, profession, workplace, professional training, family situation, economic-financial situation, data regarding owned assets, habits/preferences/behavior, image, voice, geolocation data/traffic data.

6.2 Purpose of Data Collection

The purpose of collecting personal data is: economic-financial management, advertising, marketing, publicity, statistics, electronic communication services, informing Clients about the status of their account on www.globalrecords.com, informing Clients about the evolution and status of Orders.

6.3 Data Protection Rights

Clients are guaranteed the rights provided by Law No. 677/2001 for the protection of persons regarding the processing of personal data and the free circulation of such data, namely the right to information, the right of access to data, the right of intervention, the right of opposition, the right not to be subject to an individual decision, the right to address justice in case of violation of their rights. Clients have the right to request total or partial deletion of personal data.

7. Revenue and Payments

• Revenue sharing terms will be specified in individual distribution agreements
• Payments are made according to agreed schedules
• Artists are responsible for their own tax obligations
• Minimum payout thresholds may apply

8. Term and Termination

8.1 Agreement Duration

Individual distribution agreements will specify term lengths and renewal conditions.

8.2 Termination Rights

• Either party may terminate with appropriate notice as specified in individual agreements
• Global Records may terminate immediately for breach of terms
• Post-termination obligations may continue as specified

9. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

www.globalrecords.com does not guarantee that the site, the servers on which it is hosted, or emails sent from www.globalrecords.com are virus-free or other computer components with potentially harmful character, that they do not contain errors, omissions, defects, delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, line drops or any other similar factors.

The User uses the site at their own risk, www.globalrecords.com being free from any liability for any direct or indirect damages caused by the use or access/visit to the site or as a result of using the information on the site. Global Records' liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

10. Security and Confidentiality

www.globalrecords.com does not request from its Users through any means of communication (phone/email etc.) confidential information, bank account data, personal passwords etc. In the event that the User discloses them to third parties, they bear full responsibility for their actions. Thus, in cases of disclosure of such data, the User cannot hold www.globalrecords.com responsible for any kind of damage.

11. Website Content Modifications

www.globalrecords.com reserves the right to modify, at any time and in any way, any section of the site, according to its own opinion, without being obliged to justify the modifications in any way, without any prior notification and without being obliged to fulfill any other formality towards visitors. Visitors expressly accept that the simple use or access to information offered by www.globalrecords.com signifies full and unconditional acceptance of the modifications made.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction in Romania.

Users are encouraged to regularly review this page, and continued access or use of this site demonstrates that the visitor agrees to these changes.
